This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the issue of educating students with special edu-cational needs in secondary schools. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to un-derstand, describe and interpret how their teachers approach the education of these students. In order to better understand the issue, the basic terminology and legal framework of the subject will be introduced in the first part of the thesis. Afterwards the various disabilities that special educational needs of students stem from will be presented, followed by an examination of the support options avai-lable to teachers from schools and other institutions. In the conclusion of the theoretical part, I will discuss various approaches to stu-dents with special educational needs from different perspectives. In the practical part of this thesis, I will describe the results of the exploratory sur-vey, which will be conducted by a qualitative method through semi-structured in-terview as its tool. The collected data will be analyzed using open coding metho-dology.
Influence school legislation from 2016 to process Primary School Práčská

This bachelor work deals with problematics of Czech modern education. It describes a new scholastic legislation and its influence on the operation of a primary school, established along §16 par. 9 Education Act. This work acquaints with history and development of special education. It work highlights an important role of school advisory institutions, which have a fundamental importance for assessment of support measures and placing pupils to educational institutions. The bachelor work describes the most common diagnoses of pupils with special educational needs and the most important points of the current scholastic legislation. The practical part of the bachelor work introduces the primary school Práčská, on which the research was made. I used a method of document analysis, for which was used a technique of long-term report, and a method of qualitative research with a technique of semi-structured interview. The final part of this work is dedicated to evaluation of the new scholastic legislation's influence and its impact on the primary school Práčská.
Role individual education plans in education process in elementary school pupils with defect learning

The bachelor work is aimed at the essence of individually educational plans in pupils with specific defects in learning. The first chapter of the theoretical part is aimed at the specification and the division of specific defects in learning. In the second chapter I occupy with the possibilities of the support and education of the pupils suffering specific defects in learning as well as the creation and contents of individually educational plans. The last chapter of the theoretical part is aimed at the legislative framework of the education of pupils with above-mentioned defects. In the practical part of my bachelor work I take heed of a pupil in a primary school who suffers from this specific defect. This part contains casuistic of a pupil, his family and personal anamnesis and individually educational plan. The pupil's activities in the range of ten months are described here. At the end I assess his progress in the above-mentioned areas. The objective of my bachelor work is to find out to what extend can individually educational plans enforce within the educational process and how can a pupil develop within the selected areas under the regular activities according to the individually educational plan.
Art education at special primary school

The bachelor essay utilises empirical research methods in order to inquire into how graphic arts education has been implemented in a particular elementary school for children with special needs. Its main goal is to assess to what extent the outcomes laid down in the Framework Education Programme for Special Needs Schools were achieved in practice. The essay has two main parts. First is the theoretical part in which the following topics are discussed: the hierarchy and content of the Framework Education Programmes, M. Mosston's Spectrum of Didactic Styles; the Theory of Self-Determination developed from the thought of Carl Rogers to guide teachers in supporting their students' autonomy; the specifics of the graphic art creation process in the case of a child with mental disabilities. Second is the practical part which proposes a detailed analysis of two educational units which took place in a chosen elementary school. The method of both structured and unstructured observation were used. Semi-structured interviews with the teachers of the units were used to gather even more pieces of useful information. Teaching assistant in the kindergarten in the adaptation period

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of adaptation of a teaching assistant in a kindergarten. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis deals with the history of the job position and legislation,as well as the qualificationandpersonalityof the teaching assistant, and what is his role and content in his work in the kindergarten. The next chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to what the role is and scope of work of the teaching assistant in his work in the kindergarten. The thesis defines the adaptation associated with the beginning of a new profession and deals with the possibilities of mentoring. It also describes what the collaboration betweenthe teaching assistant and the teacher in the classroom shouldbe like or mentions what mistakes they should avoid in the collaboration. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals withthe work of the teachingassistant inconnectionwith individual disabilities anddisadvantages that teaching assistants may encounter today in the kindergarten. Educational Specifics of children with rare disease in special need school

This diploma thesis is focused on education specifics of children with a rare disease at a special primary school. In the theoretical part, the author describes three specific rare diseases - mucopolysaccharidosis, Prader-Willi syndrome and Smith-Magenis syndrome. Deals with the manifestations of the disease, treatment options and the arrangement of the education for these children. In the practical part the author inquires how teachers work with a child with a rare disease during the day at special primary school. The thesis also inquires what specifics the educational process brings to teachers and where do the teachers find the sources for their methods of work.
